È partito con il botto il 2017 di THE CHAINSMOKERS. Il duo di artisti/produttori multiplatino, che vanta 3 nomination ai Grammy®, torna nelle radio italiane con un nuovo singolo, Paris, in rotazione da oggi. Il brano, che conta già 50 milioni di stream su Spotify, è accompagnato da un lyric video diretto da Rory Kramer, girato a Tulum (Messico), che vede la partecipazione della modella di Instagram Alexis Ren (http://vevo.ly/0b3qFg). Paris arriva dopo la super-hit “Closer”, che ha dominato il 2016 conquistando il vertice delle classifiche mondiali e diventando uno dei singoli di maggior successo dell’anno (triplo platino in Italia, più di 780 milioni di stream, oltre 1 miliardo di visualizzazione del lyric video e oltre 133 milioni di visualizzazioni del video ufficiale). Il singolo, interpretato da Drew, è stato annunciato in occasione dello straordinario show sold-out che hanno tenuto al Convention Center di Los Angeles lo scorso 30 dicembre.

The Chainsmokers sono gli artisti rivelazione del 2016 con oltre 5 miliardi di stream totali a livello globale e tre singoli multiplatino (“Roses”, “Dont’t Let Me Down”, “Closer”). Ogni traccia ha raggiunto la Top 10 della Billboard Hot 100 Chart; “Closer” è rimasto stabile al #1 per 12 settimane consecutive, diventando così il brano rimasto più a lungo al vertice delle classifiche nel 2016. Alex Pall e Andrew Taggart hanno pubblicato lo scorso 11 novembre il loro primo EP, “Collage”, che nasce come regalo per i fan che li hanno supportati in questo anno. Disponibile in versione fisica e digitale, L’EP contiene “Closer (feat. Halsey “ (3 x platino), Don’t Let Me Down (feat. Daya)” (4 x platino), “Setting Fires (feat. XYLØ)”, “Inside Out (feat. Charlee)” e “All We Know (feat. Phoebe Ryan)”(oro). “Collage” ha debuttato nella Top 10 della classifica Billboard.

Il duo statunitense ha recentemente ricevuto 3 nomination ai Grammy® come Best New Artist, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Closer” Featuring Halsey) and Best Dance Recording (“Don’t Let Me Down” Featuring Daya) categories.
